Arthur Terry Jr. 73, of Las Vegas, NV passed away suddenly on June 2nd in Henderson, NV.
Arthur was born in Orange, New Jersey to the late Arthur Terry Sr. and the late Lurdie Mitchell Terry on October 20, 1947.
Arthur grew up in the Newark Public School system and graduated in 1966 from Barringer High School where he was part of the varsity basketball team. After high school he answered the draft call and enlisted into the Army in 1967. He fought in the Vietnam War until being injured in 1968 then honorably discharged. During his time in the army he was a proud member of the 101st airborne division (screaming eagles). After his military time, he worked for Anheuser Bush Inc until he retired. Arthur relocated to Las Vegas many moons ago and loved the scenery of the valley.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Arlean; daughter, Tonya Williams-Davis (James Davis) of Las Vegas, NV; son, Torase Williams (Shawnette Middlebrooks-WIlliams) of Virginia Beach, VA.; grandson, Torase Williams Jr.; granddaughters, Eashia Middlebrooks, Kaylin Williams, and Kateri Solomon; sister, Peggy Juiston of Newark, NJ; brothers, Roosevelt Scott of Newark, NJ, Thomas Owens of Las Vegas, NV and lil brother Terique Vinson of Las Vegas, NV; niece, Tonia Best and a host of other friends and family.
