Dorothy Baida

Dorothy Baida, 89 of Las Vegas, NV passed away on July 9th, 2024 in Henderson NV.

Dorothy was born May 12, 1935, in Los Angeles CA to Grace and Robert Hatfield.

She graduated Santa Monica High School. She was a model, surfboard ballerina and enjoyed playing volleyball on the beach. After high school she married Mr. Roger Owens and in 1955 gave birth to Lynn Owens. Shortly after her divorce she married Mr. Michael Baida and gave birth to Doug Baida in 1960 and to Elizabeth Baida in 1978.

Dorothy was an active member of Jubilee Church in Camarillo CA and with Real Joy Ministries. She was a volunteer with the SPCA and in various ministries of the churches that she attended.

Dorothy is preceded in death by David Owens (grandson), her parents, Roger Owens (ex-husband), and Michael Baida (ex-husband).

Dorothy is survived by Lynn Owens, Doug Baida, Colleen Baida, Elizabeth Andoscia, Jason Andoscia, Beau Abarca, Grace Parker, Matthew Andoscia, William Parker, and Wanda Anthony.
