Gail Lee Kovacs

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gail Lee Kovacs, 71, of Las Vegas, who passed away on January 26, 2025. She was born on December 8, 1953, in Idaho to Douglas and Ruth Garrison. Gail grew up in Idaho, where she completed her high school education.

On November 4, 1978, Gail married Edward Kovacs, and together they built a loving home. Their marriage was not only one of devotion but also of friendship. Ed was her best friend, and he lovingly cared for her, especially when she lost her sight later in life. He ensured she was always supported and surrounded by love.

Gail was the proud mother of two sons, Michael Kovacs and Edward Kovacs III, and a daughter, Crystal Kovacs. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, who brought her much joy and pride. Though her heart broke when she lost her son, Jason to cancer, her love for him remained everlasting.

Gail's family, friends, and all who knew her will remember her kind spirit, her strength, and her unwavering love for those she held dear. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A private service will be held for close family members.
