Jerry was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. He graduated from Long Beach Millikan High School. He lived most of his life in California. He was very close to his son Ryan and spent his final years living with him in Las Vegas, NV.

The term “jerry-rig” fit Gerald (Jerry) perfectly as he could fix, repair and build anything. If he didn’t know how to fix something he learned how or he would rig it up until it worked. Gerald was a jack of all trades. He was a knowledgeable master mind of automobiles which he had great appreciation for.

Jerry was a spontaneous free spirit. He genuinely loved the people he was close to. He was a kind and gentle human. He made friends wherever he went. He would do whatever he could to help anyone in need. Our mother often said, “You never know who he will bring home for dinner, a close friend or a stranger he met on the street.”

As Jerry’s love was endless so was his appetite. Jerry had a love affair with sweets and a desire for fine foods. He enjoyed traveling. He liked animals. He had a passion for the water. He enjoyed surfing and boating. Some of his favorite times were spent aboard his trimaran sailboat.
