Kevin Ortiz

Kevin Patrick Ortiz 68, of Las Vegas NV, loved Jesus and went home to heaven on May 22, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born in Ventura CA on September 10, 1952 and moved to Las Vegas in 1980. He grew up in Santa Paula CA where he attended Barbara Webster Elementary, Isbell Junior High and Santa Paula High School.

Kevin had numerous job professions throughout his life, such as welder, truck driver, and taxicab driver. All those who met Kevin instantly became his friend.

Kevin loved to travel, meet new people, fish, and was an avid reader.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Frank, and Lorraine Ortiz, and two brothers Michael and Dennis.

He is survived by his loving daughter Lisa Ortiz, granddaughters Tina, Lici, Reina, and great-grandson Preston, sister MaryAnn Savala, and brother Tim Ortiz, plus nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Las Vegas Cremations, 5555 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV
