Leonora Sandra Leavy, born on May 10th, 1965, in Flushing Queens, New York, passed away at age 56 on August 15th, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born to biological parents Ida Marie Tosie and Alan Leavy but raised by Ida and Edwin John Cunningham. Leonora was a dynamic woman placed on this earth to spread love and positivity in every way, shape, and form. She received education from elementary school PS 165 to Campbell Junior Highschool, finishing up her diploma at Hillcrest Highschool, and taking coursework in social work and childcare in Atlanta, Georgia. From there on, she continued to make an impact in the career fields of hospitality management and catering, but her proudest achievement was becoming a homemaker. Her fierce devotion to motherhood and raising her children and grandchildren, pushing them to be the best version of themselves, was inspiring. Her unwavering passion, loyalty, protection, and guidance towards her legacy made Leonora a magnificent woman.
Leonora is preceded in death by Ida (mother), Edwin (father), Ralphie, and Richie (nephews), all of which are holding a very special place for her up in heaven. Leonora is survived by Lawrence (husband), Chase (son), Amanda, and Jacqueline (daughters), Hunter, Aliyanah, Ryder, and Brodie (grandchildren), and Ida, David, Lorie, and Dawn (siblings).
Leonora’s memorial will be on August 19th, 2021, from 1-5 pm at Las Vegas Cremations 5555 W Charleston Blvd Las Vegas, Nevada 89146.
