Mark Allen Benton

Mark A. Benton, age 55, of Webster NY, passed away suddenly on Sunday February 4, 2024 in Las Vegas Nevada where he was a resident for 30 years.

Mark was born in Rochester NY to Sharon and Dennis Benton on May 27, 1968.

Mark graduated from Webster High School in 1986. He served honorably as a combat veteran in the United States Marine Corp serving in both the Desert Storm and Somalia conflicts. During his time, he was awarded many awards, medals and citations for his dedicated service. Mark was a true patriot and considered the time he served in the Marine Corp his greatest accomplishment. Following his military service, Mark continued to serve and protect the public in the security industry for the last 30 years in the city of Las Vegas Nevada.

Mark had a love for Nascar and especially Dale Earnhardt. His other two favorite sports teams were the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Limback, his father Dennis Benton, step father Robert Lukasiewicz and brother Alan Benton.

Mark is survived by his son Eric Benton who resides in Texas, and Lourdes, his loving girlfriend of 15 years. Three sisters, Melody Arliss, Michelle (Mike) Durham, Mary (Rob) Rosdahl. Brothers, Mark and Brian Benton and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a date to be determined.
