Michael Bowers was born on July 20, 1957 to Master Sergeant, Rell Bowers and Ida Lee McClendon, in Monroe Louisiana, the 4th child and 1st son of six children,
Ida relocated to Los Angeles California In 1962. Michael was baptized at the first United Presbyterian Church in 1966.
Michael attended Cienega Elementary, Palms Jr High, Dorsey High where his passion for football and his and tailored clothing began. He graduated from Hamilton High School. He went on to work in the garment industry until his injury.
Ida and Michael relocated to Las Vegas Nevada, where he became fast friends with neighbors and the community. He was known as a fixer, He would help anyone who asked, no matter what the task. He was there.
Michael was a natural caregiver, he assisted in raising all his nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, he always had something to give them as a token of his Love
He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoying R&B Music and talking about good times together. Michael had a big heart, he was truly a child of God. We have all been blessed to have had him in our life, The Lord has called him home to rest.
Michael is survived by his mother Ida Lee McClendon, four siblings. Sharon Nelson, Jeannie Abrams, Tijuana Carter, and Jackle Jackson. Thirteen Nieces and Nephews, Dennis, Carlos, Mieshia, April, Jessica, Tiffany, Priscilla, Lauren, Endasha, Jasmine, Taja Tiana, Maurice. Grand Nieces and Nephews, Dakaraí, Jay, CarleeDeveaux, Kendall, Joi, Taylor, Kari, Jayden, Carter, Summer, Jackie.
Preceded by his eldest sister, Barbara Zambia.
