Family & Friends:
His Story:
Michael Anthony Wright was born on September 7th 1963 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He started school at 3 years-old and progressed from there. Reading at 4 years-old and bugging everyone around him.
He was visiting his grandparents for a while in California and I was told that everywhere they went, he was reading. Signs billboards and anything else he would see. Needless to say, grandparents were calling to please come get him.
Several years later we moved to Redondo Beach California. Mike went to and graduated from Aviation High School, then went on to El Camino College. He then finished his formal education at the prestigious Pepperdine University in their accelerated business course.
Mike went onto work in the accounting field for many years.
Mike was very smart, kind, and caring man. He would always try to make those around him comfortable and secure. For fun Mike loved sports, music, and dance and was good at it. He was a fabulous salsa dancer and singer. He would search out the karaoke places, and made friends everywhere he went.
Michael had a short period where his life was turned upside down, but with determination and help from friends he become a special person to so many. He will be missed terribly.
Mike was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Jean Elizabeth Price, her husband, Turner Price, and grandfather, Albert R. Wright Sr., plus other beloved family members.
Prayer:
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Michael has left behind his mother, Kathleen M. Wright, his sister Daphne R. Wright, his brother Patrick H. Adams, and step-dad, Robert L. Adams plus aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Michael passed away on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 3:45 p.m.
We all will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
Prayer:
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will
