Paula Ann Mauter

November 11, 1970 — November 19, 2021

Las Vegas

Paula Mauter is the daughter of Michael and Young. She was raised by her grandparents, and then by her aunt and uncle. She graduated high school and shortly after, she moved to LA. There, she attended some college and volunteered helping animals on her spare time. She later graduated from cosmetology school.
She became a successful esthetician and traveled the globe with a premier skin care company. She eventually began to focus more on her own personal esthetician work and beautifying her own clients. She was always interested in cosmeceutical products so she created her own skin care line. She was later a veteran in her field and brought her expertise, wit, and charm to all those she encountered.
Paula was also an avid animal enthusiast. She loved all creatures big and small. She especially loved cats and dogs. During her lifetime she volunteered, rescued, and fostered many animals. She also adopted many cats and dogs on her own over the years. Saving animals and giving them better lives was extremely therapeutic for her.
She would eventually move her life and work to NV. She was a very dedicated individual, so she would still travel back to LA almost monthly to continue to care for her clientele there. She excelled in maintaining her business relationships, growing her skin care line, building her client base, and creating happiness with all those she interacted with.
Paula was a fiercely independent and strong woman. She was a bold businesswoman yet had a heart of gold. She had an unbreakable zest for life. She worked out regularly, ate a mostly vegetarian diet, enjoyed time with her pets and family, and had so much fun with her friends. Her free time was spent painting beautiful watercolor art. Paula was also a fun rocker chick who was very humble and down to earth. She enjoyed life day by day, and was very much a realist but could find humor in almost anything. She had a beautiful loud laugh, and liked to play harmless tricks or jokes, or say things to also bring the joy of laughter to others. It is a tragic loss that the world has to go on without her ethereal talents and endless stunning beauty.
Paula’s sudden passing has left behind many heavy hearted souls. She is preceded in death by her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents, her aunt Judith, her uncle David, and her numerous fur babies. She is lovingly survived by her mother Young, her stepfather Karl, her brother Ryan, her sister Nyssa, her dog daughter, her aunts and uncle in OH and CA, and her many paternal and maternal cousins. Though many will undoubtedly mourn her loss, she would not want us to be sad but rather to celebrate her life and newfound freedom. She would like us to rejoice in the happiness and triumphs of her profound and full short life. She was very loved, she traveled the world, she created art and products, and she saved animals. She had a dynamic and beautiful life, and was finally truly happy and free, especially these final months. Please remember to celebrate her talent, touch, timeless beauty, art, soul, heart, and love whenever possible.
