Richard Arthur Daniels, 81, of Pahrump NV, passed away on 10-4-2024 in Las Vegas NV.

Richard was born in Oakland, Ca. to George Daniels & Marjorie Hall Daniels on 7-12-1943 .

Rick was born and raised in California, graduated Redwood High school.

September 1961 Richard would join the United States Airforce. After serving his country he returned home a “war time vet” where he would meet his life partner and soon to be wife Sherry Sue Carter.

Richard had a long successful career in automotive sales making national magazines as “top sales” with his “gift of gab”. Together they served the community of Visalia California building the girls softball league “Bobby Sox” then moving to “ASA” softball. They were a big part of this community building softball fields and recruiting girls to the organization, coaching, putting on tournaments to eventually a travel team. They would later move to Three Rivers California opening “The Goofy Cow ice creamery and crafts”. Following this journey later they would move to Kingston Oklahoma to retire and start a new chapter meeting new friends and enjoying retirement.

They would eventually end up in Pahrump NV with their daughter Suzanne and husband Kevin on a five acre parcel they would turn into “House of Misfits” “Ricky Reed Pets and Vets Foundation” well this was the plan until Richards time was cut short!

Richard is preceded in death by his mother Marjory, father George and brother Roger.

Richard is survived by wife of 60 years Sherry Sue Daniels, children Lynn, Cherice, Debbie and Suzie and sister Nancy.

Ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be ON HOLD until he and Sherry are together again, they will be brought back to their favorite place on earth, Morro Bay along with their fur babies, we will then do a celebration for a “Couple for Life’ who had never been apart until now.

Richard had requested a simple exit and this is how I feel he/they would have wanted to close this chapter before on to the next, their life journey.

Their love for one another will live on through their family.
