Roger Wade Peters, born on January 3, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio and was called home at the age of 66 on December 23, 2020 from heart complications due to COVID-19.
Roger was a generous, caring, loving, hardworking and sarcastic guy who loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all his heart. Roger always tried to find positivity in things and spent his life spreading contagious energy to everyone around him. Roger truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as spending time with family, chatting with friends, laughing, traveling, online golfing, glamping in his new RV and fishing.
Roger moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994 and worked with multiple construction companies during his time here. Roger recently retired as a Project Manager with Generations Millwork, displaying a wonderful knack for problem solving and building beautiful works in some of the major casinos here in Las Vegas and multiple cities in the United States.
Roger is survived by his wife Teresa Peters; children, Denny and Bridget Stevens, Clay and Kathleen Morgan, Craig and Megan Griffin, Scott Peters and Kyle Wyant; grandchildren, Unique Peters, Alurea Stevens, Sierra Peters, Tristan Cortez, Amaya Wusstig, Blake Wusstig, Haylee Stevens and Ariel Peters; his siblings, Ron and Deb Peters, Randy and Sandy Peters, Rory and Shawn Peters; his nieces and nephews; his close friends and his great love of his newly rescue dog Ella. Roger joins his mother and father, Harold and Florabell Peters, mother-in-law Anita Fox; brother, Rodney Peters and granddaughter, Brianna Stevens.
The memory of Roger’s warm laughter, smile and personality will be greatly missed and will live on through all who knew and loved him.
Viewing starts at 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. PST Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Las Vegas Cremations, 5555 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
The Viewing is open to everyone. All are welcome to come and pay your respects. Masks must be worn at all times and viewing will be in a slow moving procession meeting the COVID-19 Federal and State guidelines.
