An avid reader of poetry, Susan often sent letters and cards with her famous post it notes containing a line or name of a poem that made her think of you or your situation. She loved nature and having a green thumb her house was always full of plants and flowers. She loved Jazz and classical music, but most of all she loved to laugh, any time spent with her was sure to lead to laughter. By way of a final message she left a note guiding us to a final poem.
No funeral gloom my dears, when I am gone, corpse-gazing, tears, black raiment, graveyard grimness. Think of me as withdrawn into the dimness, yours still, you mine. Remember all the best of our past moments and forget the rest. And so to where I wait come to me gently.
Susan will be cremated per her wishes and a private gathering will be held at a time to be determined.
