Valentin Patino, 65, of Henderson, NV, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.Valentin was born on June 3rd, 1958, in Michoacan, MX, to Policarpio and Consuelo Patino. He later moved to Los Angeles at 18, where he met and married his wife of 45 years, Maria Rosario Patino.
Valentin enjoyed barbecuing, listening to music, drinking Bud Light, tending to his garden, and spending quality time with his loved ones and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was to sit on the back porch sipping on a cold one while listening to his favorite music. His specialty was cooking the most delicious, mouth-watering Carnitas Michoacan, which earned him a notable reputation. He graduated from Magnum School Inc. on February 11, 1988, as a Private Detective and Investigator. He enjoyed working as a cook for a few years before settling into his 35 plus year career as a roofer.
Valentin was an incredible father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hardworking man and an excellent roofer. Although he was known to be stubborn, Valentin also had a heart of gold. Aside from ensuring his family was always well-fed and cared for, he also extended his kindness to those in need by providing them with food and shelter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, in-laws, and many friends who became family. Survivors include his wife Maria of Henderson, NV, and his children Daniel Becerra wife, Kelvia of Lancaster, CA, Genoveva Cardenas of Eufaula, AL, Andrew Patino, wife Stephany of Sylmar, CA, Jessica Patino, spouse Alika of Oahu, HI, Michael Valencia Patino, wife Breida of Eufaula, AL and Denise Soria, husband Andrew of Henderson, NV. His 19 grandchildren and 8 of his great-grandchildren, all of whom miss him deeply.
The family of Valentin would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the doctors and nurses in Henderson Hospital who took great care of their father, most especially Stacy, AJ, Aaron, Paul, Allison, and Jason in IMCU.
